There is a large volume of studies on the effects of regular meditation and yoga practices on a subject´s level of concentration. However, little is known about the impact of meditational sessions on someone´s level of excitement, or in other words, about the extent to which someone can be `thrilled´ after or during a state of deep relaxation and stress reduction. This gap could be bridged by more neurological research. In order to examine the effects of meditation on excitement, we have formed the following research question: To what extent does meditation influence the level of excitement during watching horror movies?
