Controlling the "world" with your brain: Science fiction becoming reality.

About a decade ago, it seemed impossible to create a device that would restore the ability to move in paralyzed people. However, even longer ago, it also seemed possible to have contact with people thousands of miles away from you. It seemed impossible that humans could fly, and even more impossible that humans would walk on the moon. Nevertheless, those things are quite normal nowadays (except for going to the moon, although you might get a shot if you are a billionaire).

Tea & Christmas in Cambridge

A few months ago I decided that it might be fun to do my second research project in the UK, Cambridge. So, I emailed the head of the lab that I was very interested in, Nikolaus Kriegeskorte, and within no time there I was, in Cambridge at the Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit. Today I’m exactly 6 weeks at the unit, and so far I like it very much.
